The Series screen offers several options to control key aspects of them Toocheke’s series feature:
- Do you want to publish more than one comic series? – This option determines whether you want to override the layout on the homepage by displaying a grid of thumbnails for all your series which link to the landing page of the series. Regular blog posts will be displayed below the grid. You can view demo of what it would like when this option is enabled here.
- Do you want to display a list of ALL comics (for multiple series) on the home page? – Enable this option to show a list of all comics (across multiple series) on the homepage.
- Do you want to display list of regular blog posts on the series landing page (applies to webtoon layouts)? – For Webtoon layouts, enable this option if you’d like to display regular blog posts on the series landing pages.
- Select the series you would like displayed on the home page – If you choose not to override the homepage layout and instead use a traditional layout, you can choose from which series you will display the comic.
Discussion
WordPress allows readers to comment on your comic posts, but by default, the commenting feature is not enabled on the homepage. If you’re using a traditional layout that displays a comic on the homepage, the comment form won’t appear. To ensure the comment form shows up on the homepage, simply enable the option on the Comic Discussion screen.
Blog
On this screen, you have a couple of options that allow you to control how blog posts are displayed on the home page and on the comic page.
- Do you want to hide blog posts on your comics homepage/landing page? – This overrides whichever layout you have on the homepage by hiding the list of regular blog posts.
- Do you want to display the blog post on webtoon layout? – If you’re using a Webtoon layout, the comic’s blog post won’t appear on the comic’s page. To override this and display the blog post, simply enable this option.
Age
Is your webcomic NSFW? If so, you’ll want to ensure that readers verify they’re over 18. You can enable this age verification process on this screen.
Language
One of the cool features of Toocheke is the ability to publish your comic in two languages. To display the language switcher button for readers, simply enable the option on this page.
