I am currently in the process of building a WordPress solution that I think will be beneficial for creators. Think of it as an alternative to Patreon without the platform fees.

The features I am hoping to have in the new application include the following:

• Ability to create free and premium membership tiers
• Recurring payments
• Integration with a payment gateway that links directly to your bank account
• No platforms fees. You only get charged the transaction fees from the payment gateway.
• Ability to protect content behind a membership paywall
