ComicScout Is Now Live 🚀

ComicScout is officially live.

After a lot of work behind the scenes, I’m excited to finally share a platform built to help readers discover great independent comics—and help creators get more visibility without giving up control of their work.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the launch, joined early, and helped spread the word. This wouldn’t exist without you.

📡 How it works

ComicScout connects readers to independent comics through a simple, curated feed of updates.

1. Creators submit their websites
   Once approved, their latest comic updates are automatically pulled in and displayed as thumbnail previews.
2. Updates sync automatically
   ComicScout works specifically with websites using the Toocheke Companion plugin, which allows updates to sync automatically and display consistently across the platform.
3. Readers go straight to the comic’s website
   Each update links directly back to the original post on the creator’s site — so readers always experience the comic exactly where it was meant to be read.

This means:

• No manual uploads
• No rehosting
• Traffic goes directly to the creator’s website
